How to Add a Match condition for Account emails
Please note these instructions are only for Paribus Discovery with Dynamics 365 Online when using the Paribus Data Extractor.
The standard definition sets for Dynamics 365 (when working with data pulled using the Paribus Data Extraction Utility) do not include definitions to allow for checking the Account Emails as a Match Condition. It is possible to configure the definitions manually to carry out a Match Session that checks the emails of an account as a Match Condition. The following steps are required:
- Add Data set
- Add Match condition
- Setup new Match session
1. Add Data set
Navigate to “Data Sets” in the Data Layer.
Right click > New data. Add a data set with following settings:
Name: Microsoft D365 Account – Email Address
Note: The Email address as an Info column is optional. It will show as a match condition value in any event.
2. Add Match Condition
Navigate to “Match Conditions” in Matching Layer
Right click > New Match Condition. Add a new Match Condition as a Single Data Source using the newly setup data set.
Name: Microsoft D365 Account – Email Address
Link the Match Set to “Microsoft CRM Account Name Match” when prompted.
3. Setup a new Match Session
Navigate to “Match Sessions” in Process Layer.
Right click > New Session. Create a new match session making use of the new condition.
