Adding Paribus Interactive to Cases and Opportunities

  1. Open up the solution manager, the same as when you first installed Paribus Interactive, and connect to your CRM instance.
    1. If you didn’t install Paribus Interactive initially, don’t worry – download it from here.
    2. Now follow this article to set up the connection to the CRM form:
  2. Navigate to the Search Engine icon on the left of the solution manager.
  3. Check your list of rules to ensure you have a rule for Cases and Opportunities
    1. If you don’t have a rule for Cases or Opportunities, then import the pre-made rules:
      1. Navigate to Import/Export near the top of the screen.
      2. Click the Import/Export button.
      3. Select either
        1. Search Rules (For EMEA) – Europe, Middle East. Africa and Oceania
        2. Search Rules (For North America) – North America
      4. Then either select the Rules you wish to import by clicking the check box next to them, or click Select All to import them all. Then click Import.
      5. Now click commit and you should now have the rules.
  4. Now navigate to the CRM Forms tab and click on the Manage CRM Forms button.
  5. Click Add…
    1. Cases:
      1. Select Incident as the Entity name
      2. Select the name of your main Case form as the Form Name.
      3. Add the relevant rules to Add and Edit.
        • If using the premade rules, then these are both called Case: Entity Main Lookup Inline Search (Add/Edit)
      4. Click Update Form
    2. Opportunities:
      1. Select Opportunity as the Entity name
      2. Select the name of your main Opportunity form as the Form Name.
      3. Add the relevant rules to Add and Edit.
        • If using the premade rules, then these are both called Opportunity: Entity Main Lookup Inline Search (Add/Edit)
      4. Click Update Form
  6. You have now added Paribus Interactive to the Case and Opportunity forms.
