If you are experiencing issues connecting Paribus Discovery to your Infor CRM database, this may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • You are attempting to connect the Paribus Data Provider to your Infor CRM (Saleslogix) database using the Saleslogix OLE DB Provider?It is not required to connect Paribus Discovery to your Infor CRM database using the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) OLE DB Provider, as the data that Paribus is analysing is read only and does not perform any data updates requiring the Provider.  Furthermore the data access required by Paribus Discovery for matching data requires rapid access to the data.In our experience the use of the Infor CRM (Saleslogix) provider can cause data access issues.
    Solution: It is greatly recommended to connect Paribus Discovery to your Infor CRM database using the Microsoft SQL Server OLE DB Provider (or Oracle Provider in the case of Oracle hosted systems). Connect using a database account that has full read access to all Infor CRM (Saleslogix) database tables and views.

  • The database account you are using to access your Infor CRM database does not have the necessary privileges to read the database.
    Solution: Ensure to use a database account that has full read access to all Infor CRM (Saleslogix) database tables and views.
  • If your Infor CRM (Saleslogix) solution is running the Web Client/Server implementation then you will need to establish a private database connection to your underlying Infor CRM (Saleslogix) database (as listed above).  Paribus Discovery does not support data access to Infor CRM (Saleslogix) via SData.
